Yes it is true, You can achieve 1440 muscle contractions per minute with the noblerex K1 whole body vibration machine.
Scientific basis:
The vibration platform works by stimulating the body’s natural ‘stretch reflex’.
This is similar to the knee jerk reaction that occurs then the knee is tapped by a reflex hammer in a doctor’s office. With out thinking about it, your body responds with a strong involuntary muscle contraction, leading to your leg ‘kicking out’. The vibration platform works in a very similar way.
The K1 platform drops 6.5 mm on each side (like a seesaw). This is very small and gentle drop. For example, let’s say that you are standing on the vibration plate with a gentle knee bend. Once the platform drops 6.5mm, your muscle is quickly lengthened, or ‘stretched’. The body reacts to this by quickly contracting the muscle. By the time it does that, the K1 platform is already back at the first position. The platform drops again and this is repeated. Since the K1 platform has been designed to do this 7 to 24 times per second, you can get a maximum of 24 muscle contractions per second. In one minute you can actually get 1440 safe gentle muscle contractions. This is the equivalent to doing 1440 knee bends. Ou can only imagine how long that would take without the Noblerex K1.
In addition to these muscle contractions, vibration exercise is also able to work more of the muscles. Because the vibration effect makes the muscles contract involuntarily, all muscles that are being exercised will be activated. In fact, with regular training such as weight lifting, only 40% of your muscles will be working. With the Noblerex K1 vibration exercise, that number can reach nearly 100%. Not only will you get more muscle contractions in a short period of time, but also more of your muscles will be working during this time. All this leads to K1 vibration exercise being a safe and fast way to exercise effectively.

I use this Noblerex K-1 Plus Vibration Machine machine in our office for a variety of reasons but the primary one is the fact that it does not put undue stress on the joints. The majority of people can use it without fear of injury or joint problems. In fact it will strengthen the muscles around the joints making them more stable. I show specific exercises to help patients with their injuries and weak muscles.

I have been using the Whole Body Vibratin Exerciser for my injured patients with awesome relults. Frozen shoulders is easy to re-hab with this machine. Actually any frozen joint. it is gentle enough yet effective. We saw a sciatica patient the other day and after two sessions on the machine her hamstrings weere stretched and the piriformis muscle was stretched so the pressure off of the nerve was reduced and the sciatica was 90% better. Knee surgery is a no brainer. It strengthens the muscles in such a gentle way and with so much ease for the patient. I am very excited to use it with injuries like hip, low back, neck, shoulder, and general spine weakness. The patients hwo use it report being stronger after a very short time and all they have to do is stand on the base of machine and move in a specific way to strenghten the specific muscle we choose. For chiropractors, physical therapist, Orthopedic re-hab clinics this is a must have product. thanks Dr Lenny

I have seen research done on balance and the use of this WBV exercise machine to improve the ability to move around your environment without stumbling and using an aid, like a cane or walker. It is a matter of getting stronger and training your brain to recognoze where you are in space again. The WBV exercise uses the whole body so the nerve pathways start to work again. After only a short time using WBV exercise machine you will improve in your ability to stand and walk with out stumbling and being afraid of bumping into things again.

Thanks for asking that question. It is a common one. Yes you will benefit in many ways using the whole body vibration K1 machine. The most obvious is that you will be working muxcles that are hard to reach with conventional exercise. The WBV works every muscle in the body. The exercise trainers now are emphasising core strength and the WBV is the ultimate in building the core. Your body will probably start to reshape and firm up in areas that previously were hard to firm. This is due to the fact that you are in good shape to begin with by exercising so much so now the machine will go directly to those areas needed most. It is kind of amazing that way. hope that helps if not ask another question.

Origin of the Technology
The development of vibration training came from a desire to improve bone density and muscle integrity in cosmonauts. The technology was originally developed to counteract the lack of gravity in space by the Soviet Union. After decades of research, this innovative machine has received endorsement by many professional athletes and is ensured to produce effective results for your physical therapy needs.
